I like how this tree forms itself around the other tree, as if to be a good neighbor.

You might think that trees are like people. Some of them care, others don't...

Trees do show us the way and their living together, their care (not only) for each other is highly remarkable.

The love of God in the world, which as you know is the thread that connects my pictures, illustrates here love of neighbor, which I think we need more of in this world.

Jesus says we are to treat others with respect, even when we don't like who they are or what they do, just as we would like to be treated. It is known in many religions as the golden rule.


"In response to the question about the first of the ten commandments, Jesus says: "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' ...

The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
(Catechism of the Catholic Church 2196)


So this is why it is important that we set an example to others, whether family members, people at work, or out in the community, that as an American we do not judge others by our actions lest we be judged, and leave that to God. For when this happens the truth comes out in due time if it is meant to be.

Jesus said love one another as I loved you .. this allows us the simplicity of life, and experience first hand how God works in the world that He created in love. That is what this picture means to me, and the example that it illustrates.
