Chicagoland Artist Turns Photographs Into Face Masks

Offering a new twist on functional art, a photographer who is a life-long resident in Chicagoland, just unveiled a series of face masks adorned with colorful local scenes and more.

"These have been popular since the first day we released them and have been steady ever since," said Frank J Casella of Homewood, Il., who has been a photographer since childhood.

Selling for $15 each on his website, the masks, at least for now, include Chicago themes as well as the local vibe from his beloved Home-Sweet-Homewood. Casella concentrates on art photographs of moments in time that share hope and God's love in the world.

The masks not only show off Casella's striking photographs but offer at least one line of defense against the spread of coronavirus. "Our collectors and fans love being able to wear something aesthetic that shows off their love of color and local appeal, while still protecting themselves when they go outside," says the photographer.
