It's been too long since I've sent you a monthy email update, in addition to your weekly Thursday mails. So I want to get back on track with letting you know about the improved search function on the websites where I sell my photo works.
To illustrate, I did a search for my home town of Homewood, Ilinois at the links below. Click each one to see the difference:
For the full range of offerings search on Pixels. https://pixels.com/art/homewood+illinois
For wall decor and greeting cards search on Fine Art America. https://fineartamerica.com/art/homewood+illinois
For prints only search on my online store. https://frankjcasella.pixels.com/art/homewood+illinois
You can still do a deeper search on all the sites, it's just that your initial search will show you the selections above.
The reason for this, from my observation, is that on Pixels especially the community is growing at a very rapid pace, so the website owner decided to mix it up a bit with more of a free enterprise system presentation.
In addition, shoppers who frequent the site wanted to not only find a range of offerings but also a range of pricing. I think Amazon does something like this. So, as new things are introduced, you'll be able to see examples through your search instead of using the shop tool to find if and when the offering changes.
However, on all of the websites if you like a picture but not what's featuring that picture, or the other way around, you can click it and scroll to the bottom of the page for the menu or subject list.
Give it a try and let me know with your reply what you think!
Talk to you next Thursday,
Frank
