Father In Prayer

Learning how to pray and have faith keeps us from being self centered. To be thankful for blessings, and for trusting God, the Creator, for things we hope for beyond our own control.



Praying also helps us to be outward serving and, personally, I'm blessed when I see the impact and results from serving others without expecting anything in return.



In Catholic family life, it is the Mother who nurtures, and the Father who sets the tone, when all things fall into place.



A well-known Swiss study reveals that when the father brings his family to church, more so than the mother, the children continue to go to church when they become adults.



I grew up with my father as the spiritual leader in the home. Mom nurtured this, and today I'm so grateful to have and to know Jesus Christ.



The family that prayes together really does stay together.
