Meet The Artists

One of the hidden secrets about buying art online, specifcally on Pixels.com (Fine Art America) where I sell my photography, is finding the greatest artwork that inspires you or finding a new favorite artist with the 5,000+ member-moderated groups.

Groups on Pixels.com / Fine Art America (FAA) are not places for one of the members to show their works only, as their profile page is for.

How it works is when an artist or photographer exhibits their images that are in groups, they’re categorized by subject or theme along with images from other members, so what tags they use or don't use overlap with those images associated with others in the group.

We have groups dedicated to art, photography, graphic design, and just about any subject or topic you can think of.

Many art collectors who are established on the Pixels website join groups they shop first before using the search tool on the site.

For example, a lot of designers or art collectors looking for specific works will search an art group to cut to the chase so to speak in finding exactly what they need. In other words if they are a hotel in Chicago, Illinois for instance, they may browse a group "Chicagoland" for “The Jane M. Byrne Plaza” to find numerous works of exactly what they are looking for in one place on Pixels/FAA, instead of trying to comb through thousands in order to save time...

The main benefit of this is that featured group images are ranked by human eyeballs, by colleague artists in their own regard, who often have a good eye for superb works many times before the artwork is raked high enough to be found by the website search.

Another thing to look for is when you login to Pixels/FAA and veiw my images, lets say, you will see below each image the icon of the most recent groups that it was featured in .. click on them to find similar works of art and artists.

Also, when you click around in groups you get a glimps of the human side of the artists, because groups aren't known to be just places to exhibit our artwork, but a social area for members to meet like minded artists and to hold events and discussions among themselves. ...

... You will quickly find those members on this site who are authentic and genuinely care about and respect others . who work to develop professional relationships in our international social network and work together to communicate and mutually participate in the groups as well as recipricate with the hosts, are the ones who benefit from the groups the most . .

Because, as with anything in life, that is the way it works . . . We give and we receive . . what we project is what is reflected back to us . . if we are kind and generous it brightens everyone's day . . If we are unhappy it is mostly because we are taking more than giving to others. And you will see this reflected in the artwork they create as well.

So I invite you to search the groups page on Pixles.com for the subjects of your interests, and to meet the worlds greatest living Artists! Enjoy!
