Kathleen K Parker
This tells me a very cold stark story of black leafless trees surrounding the edgy ice on a rooftop. BW works wonderfully well here, I agree. My eyes went to the brutal ice and then to the trees surrounding it. Cold and beautiful. I could look at this all day, Frank! :) kk
Frank J Casella replied:
Yes, thank you so much, Kathleen.
Nikolyn McDonald
Great lines and shapes that are emphasized by your decision to convert to and present in black and white.
Frank J Casella replied:
Yes I agree, Nikolyn, thank you.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
Frank J Casella replied:
Thank you very much Calvin.
