The Wonder of Nature

When I wake up in the morning and go out into the back yard, I hear the sound of nature, as many kinds of birds are calling into the new day.

As with this photograph - Bird Cottage - the wonder of nature, and how things continue to evolve, always amazes me as a sign of God's love in the world.

Nature, in the broadest sense, is the natural, physical, or material world or universe. "Nature" can refer to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. The study of nature is a large, if not the only, part of science. ~ Wikipedia

The Bible asserts that the universe is a testimony to God's existence and precision. The psalmist had this to say:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard (Psalm 19:1-3).


St. Paul the Apostle went on to explain that there is no excuse for failing to worship God, because human beings can perceive His existence when they look at His creation.

Humans were designed to take care of God’s creation. On the other hand, we weren’t meant to abuse the earth, either.

What this means to me is that our nature is to do things in our own strength, but when we do things in the nature of God then we give to others through His love.

Likewise, we can be conditioned to the noise of this would so much that it's hard to be in the silence, and the beauty and sound, of nature for too long. Because without the impulses of the media buzz, and notifications on our phones, we can't think straight.

Thus, it is God's nature to show us His love through the sights and sounds of His beauty, because if God takes care of the birds, how much more is His love or us! So too should be the love we have for our family.
