Sunrise on the Winter Pine

A beautiful backyard pine tree, covered with fresh snow, absorbs the winter sunlight.

This wonderful photograph I have to confess was kept hidden in the back of my print gallery. I've always thought it to be a nice picture of a snowy scene, and that is all. I posted it to my gallery to see what happens ... now months later an artist finds in and lets me know what great qualities it has that a artist painter looks for.

So I posted it in an artist group or two on Fine Art America, only to be surprised how much it was shared on the group feature page. You see, one of the things I do when looking at artists work is go right to the back of their portfolio. Because that is where the treasures are, the ones they think people wont like as much. But I never realized that I do the same thing until recently.

Some new products have been introduced since I created this artwork, providing more possibilities than a large wall print or greeting cards, such as for phone cases.... and even a blanket or two.

In any event, may this scene bring you into the wintery Christmas spirit of Joy, Hope, Giving, and Peace.
