I hope all of you had a restful Fourth of July celebration! For me, there were so many fireworks displays and parades, that I missed sending you an holiday greeting. Sorry about that! There is so much that our American Flag stands for today, and I personally take for granted the true meaning of freedom.

By the way, did you know the biblical meaning of freedom means that we are free of attachments to be able to follow the will of God?
Which brings me to the topic that I would like to share with you today: Portion Control.

Blogger Seth Godin today shared what I find to be a powerful statement:

The digital economy has created an endless buffet, and it is easy to overeat. When confronted with infinity, is it okay to blink?

It is becoming more and more important to be intentional about how we use the internet and digital content, because it can take up so much of our valuable time that we fall short on what is most valuable to us: our relationship with God and those we love.

Which got me to thinking that some of you may not be aware of the direct link to my latest photography. So instead of logon to my website, you can just bookmark this link to quickly check what is new

As you may know, I once sent you a daily mail, then I cut back to about three times a week, and I will still continue this but lean more towards once-a-week. And I send you a new mail once I get four new uploads, instead of a new mail for each new addition. So now you have the direct link to check and see if there is anything new to buy and not have to wait for my mail.

I am also deeply working on some new photography that requires my staying away from being online and the distractions this causes from true solitude.

It is said that if you start to spend an hour a day with your own thoughts, it will take up to sixty days before you remove all the clutter and eventually can start the hour thinking about yesterday and today! I am finding this to be so true! More on this photo project in a future mail .. stay tuned.

Thanks for reading, have an enjoyable weekend!

Frank
