Changes and Tweaks …

There is a new dawn on Flickr.

In case you have not heard by now, last Friday USA Today broke the story that Flickr has been acquired by SmugMug. A privately owned photography company. I think this’ll be a wonderful home for Flickr.

Many of you know that Flickr is my photography home, where you find the largest collection of all my photography. Images for my soul, that some eventually become for sale.

I’ve decided to make some tweaks and changes to prepare for the transition. Because anything can happen with all good intentions.

What does this mean for you?

Those of you who follow my work over there know that sometimes I post my thoughts at the moment along with my pictures. So going forward I’m going to make a more concentrated effort to also post these as an entry on my artist blog.

So, I've been sending you this email each time I make a new upload to my online store, about three times a week, and I'll try to keep it at that. But it will be no more than five, and never on Sunday.

You will always find the link to the blog posts below my words.

I expect everything will go smooth over the next several months, as SmugMug moves all the pictures and data from Flickr over to their servers. But in case there is a glitch, you'll find my latest pictures and thoughts HERE.
