To be distinctive means to have a characteristic (of a person or thing) that distinguishes it from others.

Sort of like how in Christian circles there is this saying that goes 'be the kind of person that when you walk through a room, people know that Christ' love has been there'.

Have you ever experienced this?

Some people, when they walk into a room you know from the start it's all about vanity or ego. But, have you ever experienced the person who just radiates pure love?

I did profoundly when I met Mother Theresa and Pope John Paul II, now both Saints of the Church. But you don't need to be a Saint to share love distinctively.

For example, when I worked for the Catholic newspaper here in Chicago, sometimes people would tell me how they could tell my pictures apart from others in the paper without looking at the credit line.

These days this translates to walls. That I'm told when my pictures are on the wall it brings love and hope to the room.

It's sort of like the scripture verse how when you put a lamp on the lamp stand, instead of hiding it, the lamp radiates light into the room.

To help you see what I'm talking about, I've moved some of my most distinctive artwork to the top of the image page on my artist website, Click Here
